(b) “Service” means the Proteus Learning Hub and internet provided services and includes, without limitation, www.myproteus.com; www.proteuslearninghub.com and any other related web sites used by Proteus now or in the future.
(c) “You” or “Your” means You, Your registered business, and if you are a Proteus client any of Your employees, officers, or agents who may use the Service.
(d) “Data” means information of any kind that You as a user upload, input, or submit to or through the Service including Data provided by your employer as a client of Proteus.
(e) “Person Identifying Information” means personal data as that term is defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.
2. General Statement of Compliance and Types of Information.
Proteus acts as a data controller, of your data for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. Any Person Identifying Information you supply via this Service will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (including any further amendments) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
Proteus will use Your Person Identifying Information in the manner set out in this policy.
3. Anonymous or Non-Person Identifying Information.
When You visit the Proteus Learning Hub or our Proteus website, We may automatically collect information from You. We will hold anonymised data relevant to your and your employee’s use of our Learning Hub.
Where you are an employee of a client of Proteus, Your employer’s authorised administrators also have access to your Person Identifying Information in accordance with your employer’s policies. This information may also be secured from the sources described below and is subject to the conditions stated below:

The Person Identifying Information referenced in this paragraph may be secured or received from sources such as (i) Your transactions with Us, our affiliates and third parties; (ii) Your enquiries by mail, telephone, email or face-to-face conversations; (iii) communications with any of the parties mentioned here; and (iv) agreements, applications, forms and other documents received from You or any of the parties mentioned here; and (v) information You submit voluntarily to Us.
(c) Internal Use. We restrict access to Person Identifying Information to Proteus personnel and Proteus affiliates and subsidiaries. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect Person Identifying Information.
(d) Security. Our Service uses various security devices and methods where appropriate to protect Your Person Identifying Information and Data depending on the nature of the Data, and we will take reasonable measures to ensure that Your information remains reliable, accurate, complete and current. Users are advised to ensure when they access our Service over the Internet the connection to the Proteus Learning Hub and Proteus website is 100 percent secure. We may combine anonymous usage information collected from Your visit to the Service with that of other users to analyse use, determine which features and areas of the Service are most popular and determine benefits of various kinds including, for example, effectiveness of project and programme improvement, project and programme status in general. This aggregated information will not contain Person Identifying Information.
(h) Permitted Disclosures. We may disclose Person Identifying Information to the following parties under the following circumstances: (i) to You, if you direct Us to do so; (ii) to unaffiliated service providers, vendors, affiliates, licensees, licensors, third parties who assist Us or who perform services on Our behalf in order to provide You with products and services or to effect transactions that You request or authorise; (iii) to third parties if we are compelled to do so by law; and (iv) to third parties in order to protect any account You may have with Us from fraud, misfeasance, malfeasance or other wrongful act.

Links to various non-Proteus websites do not constitute or imply endorsement by Proteus of these websites, any products, or services described on these sites, or of any other material contained in them.

You may obtain a copy of Your Person Identifying information by contacting Your representative at Proteus, or by contacting Us online by utilising Our Contact Us form. For Your protection, You may be required to provide proof of Your identity to obtain a copy of Your Person Identifying information. You may correct any errors in Your Person Identifying information by providing Us with the correct information, and We will delete Your Person Identifying information (except for Your transaction history and security archived data required for regulatory compliance) from Our records upon Your written request. However, You may not be able to access some areas of the Proteus Learning Hub and Proteus website if You choose to delete Your Person Identifying information. If You are or have been Our client or customer, or received any services from Us, We reserve the right to maintain archive copies of all communications and other documents in Our possession concerning or related to You, including Person Identifying information.
