I love working for a company that typically only gets involved in resolving large, complex and Exec visible challenges but also has a culture, collective mindset and work ethic that allows you to always meet or exceed client expectations, no matter what is thrown at you.
Working for Proteus has given me a broader professional background than I could have built with virtually any other company. I have worked in senior roles on a wide range of very big ‘business critical’ programmes across several sectors. The firm approaches problems and opportunities in a way that no one else does. I believe that the establishment of our award-winning Learning Hub was a master stroke – what other consultancy actively pushes its IP to its clients with an aim to make them self-sufficient?
Whilst working in industry I was lucky enough to be coached by Proteus, which really stretched me mentally, but also gave me the confidence to take on more complex and high-profile programmes. What I learnt from Proteus was knowing what questions to ask to know whether your delivery was safe, to understand the drivers of your business stakeholders and how to ensure the two are aligned. Having recently joined the business, I’m really looking forward to an environment of constant learning where I can enhance my delivery skills, on exciting change programmes.
Having worked with a range of large Consulting firms, including Big 4, what appeals and excites me about Proteus is our amazing ‘fan base’ of clients, our assets and IP that can really change the game, our focus on development clients’ internal capability and the opportunity to disrupt the traditional consulting sector. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that story!
